Island Trees Artists Awarded College Scholarships
A number of talented students will continue their studies in college.
Island Trees High School seniors Cheryl Kim, Ryan Waterbury, Kelly Durkin and April Rochon have all received scholarships to continue their art studies in college.
Kim has received a maximum scholarship to the School of Visual Arts while Waterbury will be studying architecture at Pratt Institute. In addition, Durkin will pursue collegiate studies in Art Therapy at C.W. Post and Rochon’s scholarship will provide the opportunity to study Fashion Design at Stevenson University.
