Photos: Levittown Ford Opens Doors
The new dealership had a soft opening at its Hempstead Turnpike location yesterday.
One of Hempstead Turnpike's empty buildings was officially filled again yesterday as Levittown Ford opened its doors to the public.
The new dealership, located at 3195 Hempstead Turnpike, is owned by the VIP Auto Group, which owns several dealerships on Long Island.
"The group started in 1957 with Westbury Jeep," said Bill DiMaio, Levittown Ford's general manager. "The same type of ownership has come here, so it's still going to be family owned and operated with that same anticipation of taking care of the public."
Good customer service is a goal of the organization, but they also want to give back to the community that they are now a part of.
"We're very proud to be in Levittown itself," said DiMaio. "We plan to support the community as well, making this the best Ford dealership in New York State and in general. The community involvement is everything."

I am very happy that Ford is back in Levittown. Ford, the only American Car manufacturer not to take a bail out from the government is building quality cars and trucks. I very much want them to grow and prosper. I and my son have leased or bought cars and trucks from the old "Country Ford". Good Luck!

I do not think it is the same owners as Country Ford. Did they take back the old goodyear building?
