With all the fanfare of this store opening i for 1 was very turned off at the look of empty shelves,Read More a lot of employees just standing around with no guidance on what to do in the store and not enough registers up front. While the prices are below other supermarkets in the area the store wasnt planned well . The so called deli counter is about 4 ft long nd put into the corner of the store (as a after thought?) At times this store looks like it is closing up with all the empty shelves

I noticed that myself, yesterday, Wednesday. Uncomfortable feeling when shelves aren't stocked well.Read More Deli section is rather expensive. BJ's is my place for better cost on Cold cuts and salads. You r right about employees being idle. Few were stocking shelves. Few. Registers were fine on my trip.
The Racyo4 building, located at 2693 Hempstead Tpke. in Levittown, could become a new Starbucks.

Leonora, isn't it worse to leave the Rayco building vacant and have the homeowners (who areRead More incidentally out of work) foot the bill for the lost tax revenue? Development should be welcome in all walks and sizes in Levittown. The plight of the recession is finally beginning to lift on the area with several new businesses opening this year. Progress is progress. The more businesses in the area, the less homeowners are on the hook for property taxes.
