Members of Concil, please take a closer look at the 8th Precinct CrossingGuard recklessly sit in theRead More car & guard his/her own car instead of facilitating students crossing the Savvy Traffic!!! There is one on Wantagh Ave & Southern State (West) and another one of Division Ave & Hempstead Tpke. Called the precinct, they explained "it's a dangerous and so it's justified for the guard to be sitting in the car (and get paid!!!). What can we do as parents of these students?!?! Nothing!!! so if you are concern, feel free to give our local precinct a call, it would be a really good relief & ensure our tax go to the right track.

Polly Dwyer..... in the center. What a wonderful lady! She is so totally devoted to keeping theRead More Lev. Historical Museum open and running. Spends many hours there. You should all visit... really an interesting display of yesteryear in Levittown! I've lived here since I was 3 years old... moved here with GI Dad and my mom and baby sister back in 1948. This museum holds lots of memories. And Polly has a lot of great stories and info about the displays.
