Island Trees Teachers Support Candidates

Friends of Rich, Giambona & Fielding are greatly appreciate the support of the Island Trees Teachers!!

The United Teachers of Island Trees would like to take this opportunity to offer our support to Mr. Michael Rich, Mr. Paul Giambona and Mr. Brian Fielding as they attempt to gain positions on the school board of The Island Trees School District.  The aforementioned gentlemen  possess a similar mindset with regard to our community and the means by which to achieve success.  They are enthusiastic and motivated and are prepared to put their ideas in motion if and when they are elected to these very important positions.

It is never the intention, nor will it ever be the intention of the UTIT to speak disparagingly of any board member.  It is a thankless, payless job which requires dedication and selflessness.  It is not easy to sit before an audience and answer questions with no knowledge of what will be asked.  For the efforts of the existing board members, we offer our appreciation and respect.  Our opinions are not arrived at by any personal feelings toward any individuals.  We simply feel that the gentlemen that are seeking positions on the board are very qualified and are prepared to face the challenges that currently exist.

Mr. Rich, Mr. Giambona and Mr. Fielding have publicly stated how important it is to show support for the teachers and children of this community.  The United Teachers of Island Trees will always proudly serve the children of this community.  We take great pride in what we do.  The children always will come first!  It is with great confidence that we anticipate the results of what these gentlemen have vowed.  Our appreciation for any board member will remain a constant.  No matter the results of the elections on May 20th, the members of the UTIT will be prepared to serve the Island Trees community and work in conjunction with the board of education to achieve success for our students.
