Response to questions about the vandalism of St. Bernard's Statue of the Virgin Mary

I was informed that the police told the church to file an insurance claim and get another statue. There was not much they could have done. I wanted to start a reward for the persons who did this terrible act. I was also informed that the teenagers were seen during the night with skate boards playing in the parking lot of the church. Last year it was the Statue of St. Bernard's outside in the garden, knocked over and broken, the year before that, the outside altar crucifix arms were broken off. Again, the Priest in that time heard kids hanging out on the grounds, some with skateboards. Maybe if any mothers or fathers are reading this, and have a teenager around 15 -17, ask them "where were you on Friday night after midnight".? See what they come up with. I am disgusted with these kids and their vandalism towards church property in Levittown.   We need to put a gate around the grounds of the church and lock it up during the night, or have video cameras all over the premises. Something has got to be done to stop these kids from destroying church property. How do they sleep at night?
