#64: Research the Paranormal

Get into the Halloween spirit by learning of Long Island's paranormal history.

It has been said that many parts of Long Island are haunted. From Stony Brook to Fire Island, from Central Islip to Bohemia, people have had paranormal experiences. On Oct. 13, the Long Island Society for Paranormal Research will be giving a lecture on ghosts and the legends of Long Island. This lecture will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday night. Not only will they be discussing ghosts, but they will also be discussing some of the area's creepiest places, including Sweet Hollow Road and Mount Misery. To read descriptions of some lectures the Society gives, please visit: http://www.lispr.com/LecturePage08.html. For EVP's (electronic voice phenomenon), please visit: http://www.lispr.com/evp.html.
