Levittown was lucky compared to
many other Long Island Towns.
We had the
privilege of many Out-Of-Town electrical crews assisting LIPA with the
restoration of our power. Many of those
Out Of Town Crews will not make it home for Thanksgiving and according to our LIPA liaison they will be here for approximately another six weeks. As a Thank you for their sacrifice we are
pleased to serve a “Thank You” home cooked giving “Thanks” meal with all the
trimmings.
Josh Malone of Harp & Hammer has graciously
partnered with Chef Karen to make this happen.
With the generous donations from local Levittown businesses and residents we are hoping
to give these hard working crews a little taste of home.
If
you know of a Levittown Family who is struggling this Holiday please let us know, our
doors are open for them too.
As we
prepare for this feast we are still in need of donations. If interested and able please contact me via
