During
the 2012 Volleyball Coaches Association awards dinner, several athletes were recognized for their accomplishments.
Lauren Ecock and
Shamar Sanchez walked away with
All-Conference
recognition, while Erica Faggione was rewarded with her 2nd consecutive
All-Academic award.
Island Trees posted a 14-1 record by receiving its first
Conference Championship
under 2nd year head coach Louis Sepulveda.
The team will be moving into
conference B/C 1 where the level of play is intensely competitive. The
young Lady Bulldogs anticipate being set for
the challenge.
Congrats to all the award winners and the entire team
for its hard work and excellent effort this year.
