The YES Community Counseling Center, a non-profit, community-based organization, announced that they have opened a satellite office at 152 Center Lane in Levittown.
“This location offers specialized and evidence-based treatment programs to adolescents and families impacted by alcohol and substance abuse as well as provides general counseling services to youth and their families”, said Executive Director, Jamie Bogenshutz.
The services offered by YES are comprehensive, but "designed with the understanding that flexibility is essential for families with hectic schedules." All treatment staff are licensed and credentialed professionals, with a wealth of knowledge and experience working with families, youth, substance abuse, and wide variety of other difficulties that can impact families today.

As an OASAS licensed and multi-funded agency, YES has been providing quality treatment and prevention programs to adolescents, adults and families to southeastern Nassau for over 35 years.
“Our new location will increase accessibility for individuals residing in Western Nassau and will also provide access to a myriad of other services and resources at the Massapequa location when needed,"Bogenshutz said.

The satellite’s program hours will be on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and will expand with the needs of the surrounding communities. Referrals and consults can also be made to the Massapequa office, open Mondays through Thursdays from 9AM-10PM, and Fridays from 9AM-5PM. Most insurance is accepted including Medicaid, and those without coverage will be assessed for a sliding scale fee.
