The 2012 Town of Hempstead Summer Concert Series features 32 performances and a number of different artists from all types of muscial backgrounds.

- Saturday, June 30 at 7:30 p.m. -- Town Park, Point Lookout: The Annual Independence Salute with Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone, with Bay Fireworks and a Salute to Veterans. Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits fame sings “I'm Into Something Good” and “Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter.” Rain date, Sunday, July 1.
- Tuesday, July 3 at 8 p.m. -- Newbridge Road Park, Bellmore: Bad Medicine is “Livin' on a Prayer” with a Bon Jovi Tribute.
- Thursday, July 5 at 8 p.m. -- Acorn Lane Park, Levittown: Who Are Those Guys? Just a great rock 'n' roll band.
- Tuesday, July 10 at 8 p.m. -- Rath Park, Franklin Square: Relive the unforgettable sounds of the 50s with the Devotions.
- Wednesday, July 11 at 8 p.m. -- Oceanside Park, Oceanside: Remember the hits “Cinderella” and “'Till Than” with Emil Stucchio and the Classics.
- Thursday, July 12 at 8 p.m. -- Speno Park, East Meadow: “Start Me Up” with a Rolling Stones Tribute starring the Glimmer Twins.
- Friday, July 13 at 8 p.m. -- Hendrickson Avenue Park, Elmont: Move and groove to the sounds of Pep & the Soul Explosion.
- Saturday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m. -- Baldwin Park, Baldwin: The dynamic Shirley Alston Reeves of Shirelles fame performs a special concert with post show fireworks sponsored by the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.
- Tuesday, July 17 at 8 p.m. -- Harold Walker Park, Lakeview: Barbara Harris and the Toys, one of the legendary girl groups of the rock 'n' roll era, plays.
- Wednesday, July 18 at 8 p.m. -- Seamans Neck Park, Seaford: “Don't You Worry ‘Bout A Thing” when Higher Ground performs a Stevie Wonder Tribute.
- Thursday, July 19 at 8 p.m. -- East Village Green, Levittown: Killer Joe and L'il Cliff & the Cliffhangers team up for a tribute to Blues Brothers night.
- Friday, July 20 at 8 p.m. -- Merrick Road Park, Merrick: “What a Long Strange Trip it's Been,” so put on your tye dye shirt and enjoy Half Step in a Grateful Dead Tribute.
- Monday, July 23 at 8 p.m. -- Coes Neck Park, Baldwin: A touch of Gospel with the incomparable Felita Rollins.
- Tuesday, July 24 at 8 p.m. -- Echo Park, West Hempstead: Walking the Line sings the hits of Johnny Cash before an Astronomy Under the Stars program.
- Wednesday, July 25 at 8 p.m. -- Terrace Gardens Park, Inwood: Tribal Legacy plays classic party music and great reggae.
- Thursday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m. -- Hewlett Point Park, Bay Park: “Remember Then” with Larry Chance and the Earls and the Renditions of South Florida.
- Friday, July 27 at 8 p.m. -- Dutch Broadway Park, Elmont: Randy and the Rainbows sing the hit songs of the fabulous 60s.
