Bally Total Fitness Building Remains Vacant, Available for Lease

A whopping 22,500 square footage of space remains vacant and available for lease at the site of the former Bally Total Fitness in Levittown.

Located at 2935 Hempstead Turnpike near Division Avenue, the building was built in 1985 and features 130 parking spaces, according to the LoopNet listing.

LA Fitness bought the club in 2012 and officially closed the gym on June 1. LA Fitness currently operates a location at 3601 Hempstead Tpke. Other nearby include Retro Fitness (2575 Hempstead Tpke.), Planet Fitness (3025 Hempstead Tpke.) and CrossFit Revenge (2890 Hempstead Tpke.).

We have enough supermarkets in Levittown and close by. King Kullen, Pathmark, Stop n Shop. We need more? A Shoprite might be nice. CrackerBarrel restaurant?

Janet what about the residents that dont have cars? King Kullen is close but still a far walk . I think a supermarket is still better than a empty store

I noticed TOH permits in windows of the old Bally building. Anyone know what is going in there?
