Levittown sushi lovers rejoice: a new Japanese cuisine and sushi bar has arrived.
J.J. Sushi recently opened at 2936 Hempstead Tpke., next to the Dunkin' Donuts and the former Potter's Deli, which is now vacant.
The restaurant offers a variety of rolls and hand rolls, plus signature rolls such as dragon roll ($10.25), rainbow roll ($10.25) and salmon lover roll ($11.95). Appetizers include tuna tataki ($9.95), yellowtail jalapeno ($9.95) and salmon avocado salad ($9.99).
The menu also includes teriyaki entrees, noodles and fried rice, tempura and hibachi dinners and more. Prices range from $12 to $26.
The sushi bar also offers both take out and free delivery (with a minimum purchase of $15).
J.J. Sushi is open seven days a week: Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
