Shoppers at Tanger Outlets at the Arches in Deer Park will get a piece of reality starlet style this weekend as Bravo TV's "Real Housewives of New York" star Cindy Barshop, a Wantagh native, debuts her new beauty line.
On Saturday, from 2 - 6 p.m., shoppers can meet the reality star and enjoy an exclusive spa experience as Tanger hosts a Completely Bare Spa where Barshop, a graduate of MacArthur High School in Levittown, will roll out her new products.
Barshop is the founder of Completely Bare Spas, a popular chain of hair-removal salons. The business woman worked in telecommunications for IBM when she stumbled upon Epilight, a laser hair removal machine. Barshop took off with the idea and opened her first spa in Manhattan in 1998. She now has nine stores across the country and a net worth of about $6 million.
Barshop is best known in the beauty world for her "vajewel" treatment, in which designs made of crystals are applied to a person's skin for decoration. She also offers "vatoos," a temporary airbrushed tattoo designed for "down there."
Attendees on Saturday will have the opportunity to enjoy an array of spa treatments and receive 35 percent off along with a special gift.
