Red Mango Slated to Open in King Kullen Shopping Mall

Franchise specializes in all natural frozen yogurt and smoothies.

Red Mango, a California-based brand specializing in all natural frozen yogurt and fresh fruit smoothies, is coming to Levittown.

The chain has been rapidly growing with 173 locations in 25 states opened since 2007, and the newest location will open around July in the King Kullen shopping center at the southwest corner of Hempstead Tpke. and Gardiners Ave.

In addition to frozen yogurt and fresh fruit smoothies, Red Mango also offers probiotic beverages, artisan hot chocolate and fruit and yogurt parfaits.

The menu at Red Mango boasts all natural, non-fat, certified gluten-free products. Frozen yogurt lovers can choose from classics like the Red Mango original, the tangy pomegranate by POM Wonderful, cake batter or peanut butter, or more eclectic options like the Irish cream, lemon spritzer or peppermint dark chocolate.

According to Monica Feid, a press contact for the Red Mango brand, the new location is set to open around July.

"I have confirmation that this location is slated to open in the third quarter of 2012," said Feid. "It is the second location for the franchise owner who just opened a Red Mango store in Selden. It will be a self-serve format."
