Walmart Market vs. King Kullen: Who's Got it Cheaper?

A side-by-side price comparison of items at two local grocery stores.

Everybody knows that Walmart prides itself on low prices. So, how does the new Walmart Market grocery store in Levittown compare to another nearby supermarket?

Levittown Patch has compiled a list of 10 popular grocery store items and compared the prices from Walmart Market to King Kullen, which is located just seconds away on Hempstead Turnpike. 

You'll see below that Walmart beats King Kullen on several key items, including a loaf of bread and a box of Cheerios (over $1 difference for both). The most notable price discrepancy was found in a 12-pack of Corona beer ($4 cheaper at Walmart). 

However, other items are off by just a few cents and King Kullen does beat Walmart on one key product.
