ATTACKED: Sicilia Risturanti Reviewer Verbally Attacked Online After Leaving Negative Review

This is the review I left for Sicilia Risturanti in Levittown, N.Y.:

This is coming from a guy that has been coming here frequently for a long time. I went here last night and at the end had the worst experience, and will never return. I first ordered the salmon with asparagus and white rice. It was perfect. Then I ordered the baked clams. I was told that it would be about a half hour because the chef had to make them fresh, and was asked if I still wanted them. I told him of course. When they did arrive, they looked good, however when I tasted them, all I could taste was red pepper. I complained about it, and the owner brought me the clam mixture, and you could tell just by looking at it there was too much red pepper. I asked them to try it, and both owners told me that they dont eat that stuff. I laughed. An owner that doesnt eat his own food. No wonder. Anyway, the owner then told me that it is the way they make them, and she asked me if I never had their baked clams then how could I say they were no good. I asked for the check, and the waiter asked her what to charge me, and she said "Full price, charge him full price". I paid and left never to return.

The Owners Son, Kevin, responded to my review with this:
This coming from the neighborhood drunk/criminal because he did get the clams for free. I hope you never return.

I responded with this:
Its not about getting the clams for free. Its about the way the two owners of the restaurant refused to even taste them, and then how your Mom brought the mixture out to me, asked me what was wrong with it, and Domenic smelled it and said it was strong with the peppers. How unprofessional for the owner's son to attack me online about my personal life after leaving a bad review.

The owners son responded with this: It is a link to an article that he found online about me being arrested over 5 years ago

I responded with the two following posts:
And if you think that by posting a link to an article that you found online about something that happened to me 5 years ago is going to help people come to your restaurant, think again. You really have a lot to learn about the business and about life in general.

I have since left additional comments to the review that I was not going to do, but since the Owner's son Kevin thought it was appropriate to verbally attack me in such an unprofessional manner, I left this:

Kevin, want to attack my personal life? OK, here's another review for the restaurant...
The bathroom looks like it is never cleaned. There are stains on the toilet and toilet seat and the floor in the bathroom is never swept. The tablecloths have food stains on them from never being washed, the beer cooler has moldy water in the bottom of it, the bar top is never cleaned as there are crumbs on it because when someone is done eating no one ever cleans it off...Keep attacking me Kevin. At least all of what I say is true. You are now assuming that I am a drunk and have no friends because that's the best you can come up with.

No wonder they have very little customers. Very unprofessional. In the restaurant business if a customer is not satisfied with anything you serve YOU as the owner must compensate in order for that customer to be happy. A happy customer is good for business. And it doesn't matter where the customer is from or their past. Shame on you Sicilia Risturanti.
