Crime Nearby: Attempted 7-11 Robbery, Levittown Cars Damaged

A look at recent crime in the Levittown area.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.

Levittown

- On Dec. 3, a window was broken on a car on Amber Ln.

- On Dec. 3, a car was found spray-painted on Cornflower Rd.

Wantagh/Seaford

  • On Nov. 23, Tanya Weisberger, 42, of Seaford was arrested at the corner of Merrick Road and Seaford Avenue in Massapequa and charge with driving while intoxicated.
  • A home on Princeton Drive North in Wantagh was burglarized  on Nov. 27. Police said the point of entry was through a rear door with jewelry stolen.
  • A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle parked at the Seaford Long Island Rail Road Station parking lot on Nov. 27.
  • On Nov. 29, Michael Barrett, 18, of Wantagh was arrested on Bayview Avenue in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated as well as three vehicle and traffic law violations.
  • On Dec. 2, Vanessa Idrovo, 23, of Seaford was arrested on Waverly Avenue in Seaford and charged with driving while intoxicated. 
- Attempted 7-11 Robbery  - A Wantagh man was arrested and charged early Saturday morning with attempting to rob a 7-Eleven store in Uniondale with his face covered. Read the full story here.

Hicksville

- On Nov. 29, a license plate was stolen from a car outside American Cleaners in Hicksville.

- On Nov. 30, an IPod and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from a car on 14th st.

- On Dec. 3, a GPS was stolen from a car parked at the Hicksville LIRR station.

- On Nov. 30, cash and an XBOX 360 were stolen from Rim Ln.

Bethpage

- On Dec. 3, a car was stolen on Carson Dr.

- On Nov. 28, cash and assorted jewelry was stolen from Haypath rd.

- On Nov. 30, a television, laptop, earrings and a coin collection was stolen from Cedar Ave.
