Crimes Nearby: Woman Burglarizes Ex-Boyfriends House, Cars Stolen

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.

Wantagh

- A Wantagh woman was arrested and charged Monday night with burglarizing her ex-boyfriend's house and leaving with more than $1,000.

According to Nassau County Seventh Squad detectives, on Saturday at 8 p.m., Victoria Vaccaro, 20, entered the residence of her former boyfriend on Twin Lane South in Wantagh. Police said Vaccaro, who did not have permission to enter the home, removed more than $1,000 and fled the scene. She was located on Park Lane in Wantagh on Monday at 6:15 p.m. and taken into police custody.

On Nov. 23, police said a kindle and a GPS was stolen from a car on Nevada St.

On Nov. 23, a window was broken on a car and a GPS was stolen on Ohio St.

- On Nov. 21, police said a person attempted to enter the rear door of a house on Cornell Ln. in Hicksville. No loss was reported.

- On Nov. 27, the front door of a home on Cliff Dr. was pried open and jewelery and handbags were stolen from the home.

- On Nov. 22, a cash register and cash was stolen from Nick's Sports Barber Shop.

- On Nov. 23, a car was reported stolen from the Hicksville LIRR station.

- On Nov. 25, a car was reported stolen on W. John St.
