provides talented performing arts students the opportunity to participate in
intensive hands-on workshops in dance, music, and theatre.

The students experienced Adelphi’s new 53,000 square-foot
Performing Arts Center-AU PAC, which, situated around the newly renovated
Olmstead Theatre, has all new teaching, practice and performance spaces that
include a state-of-the-art concert hall, recital hall, and black box
theatre.
At the end of the workshop sessions, the students heard a
keynote address from performing artist Christine Ebersole who won a Tony Award
in 2001 for the Broadway revival “42nd Street” and again for her
dual role in the 2006 musical “Grey Gardens."
Students who attended are: Kathryn Gunderson, Arielle Herguth, Jessica King, Samantha
Koenig, Melissa Rorech, Wendy Yackavage.
