Island Trees Library Celebrates Brand New Sign

Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray (pictured 5th left) recently attended the ribbon cutting ceremony conducted in celebration of the installation of the Island Trees Public Library’s new lawn sign at the Stephen E. Karopcyc School on Farmedge Road in Island Trees. 

Eagle Scout Candidate Ryan Goepfert coordinated the production and installation as well as the landscaping. 

Pictured also are New York State Senator Kemp Hannon, New York State Assemblyman Tom McKevitt, Eagle Scout Candidate Ryan Goepfert, other scout members, Scout Master Kenny Bacotti of Levittown, and Assistant Scout Master Anthony Giresi of Levittown.
