- The Levittown Community Council holds a general meeting Monday night, 7:30 p.m. The meeting will feature Chris Holder, Coordinator of the Levittown Community Watch (appointed by Legislator Dennis Dunne) as he addresses the community on this organization. The Community Watch's motto is "say something if you see something" as they " try to keep Levittown safe and remain a great place to live." The meeting is being held at Levittown Memorial Education Center, 150 Abbey Lane, Levittown, NY at 7:30 PM in the Culinary Arts Room. Meetings are open to the public and are free of charge.
- Also coming up from the community council is the 15th annual Lazy Days of Summer Picnic. It will be held at the East Village Green on Jerusalem Ave., July 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be free entertainment and many fun activities including pony rides, a petting zoo, relay races and crafts.
