Levittown House Fire Injures 5

Five people suffered smoke inhalation from a house fire Monday night in Levittown.

The bedroom fire occurred in a Mistletoe Ln. home and was extinguished around 10 p.m. Monday by the homeowner, firefighters said. Two people were transported to Nassau Medical Center and three refused medical attention at the scene.

The Wantagh, Hicksville and East Meadow Fire Departments were also called to the scene with ambulances. The cause of the fire is unknown.
