Levittown Native Jill Mulholland Wins Two Soccer Awards

Hofstra women's soccer player and Levittown native Jill Mulholland won two awards on Monday, earning the Colonial Athletic Association's Rookie of the Week honors and being named to Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week.

Mulholland, a freshman at Hofstra, scored a goal in two of Hofstra's Colonial Athletic Association victories last week. The MacArthur HS graduate broke a scoreless tie in a 1-0 victory at UNC Wilmington and added a goal and an assist in the Pride's 5-0 victory over Georgia State, according to the Hofstra Athletics page

Mulholland played soccer for four years at MacArthur and was a member of the state championship team in 2011. She earned NSCAA All-America accolades and was named the New York Class AA Co-Player of the Year as a senior after scoring 17 goals for the Generals.

The Hofstra women's soccer team is currently 6-4, with Mulholland tied for first on the team in goals (5) and total points (12).
