Levittown Resident, WW II Veteran Chesley Greening Passes Away

Chesley A. Greening of Levittown passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012.

Proud Veteran of the Army of WWII and the Navy during the Korean Conflict. Loving husband of the late Jean. Dear father of Barbara Gruntorad, Chesley,Laura Turner, Jean Goelz and Donald.

Father-in-law of Rob, Cara, Kevin, Fred and Lisa.Cherished grandfather of Jill, Stephanie, Lindsay, Jacqueline, Kayla, Hailey, Cassidy,Samantha, Danny, Chris, and Vicki. Adored great-grandfather of Brandon, Lauren, Ryan,Jackson, Cheyenne, and Braden. Devoted friend of Eti and Ami.

Chesley worked in the scheduling department at Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage for 35 years. He was happiest when he was spending time with his family.

Reposing Thursday, 2-5 and 7-9 pm, at the Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home: 603 Wantagh Avenue, (28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY.

Funeral service Friday, 10am, at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
