MacArthur Seniors Video Featured on MSG Varsity

MSG Varsity’s show High School Life recently featured a video production by MacArthur High School seniors Samantha Johnson, Samantha Soguero, Sean Carey, Laura DelPiano and Alyssa Lerro titled Dig Pink Commercial.

High School Life is a student-produced monthly show, that presents student created videos and features ranging from academics to art to events.

The segment is one of nine that appeared in the episode, which aired on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 12:00 p.m. on MSG Varsity, Optimum TV channel 14.

The MacArthur High School commercial promotes the Dig Pink volleyball game that took place between the girls volleyball team and members of the faculty. The promo features several faculty members explaining the event. They are Miss Drury, Mrs. Nessler, Mr. Nessler, Mrs.Poris, Mr. Causeman, Mrs. Fasano, Mr. Leahy, Miss Mignone, Mr. Levy, Mr. Falck, Mr. Bobal, Mr. Bergerson and Miss Walsh.

“Part of our mission at MSG Varsity is to help educate students about television production through our media creation program,” said Michael Lardner, Executive Producer and Senior Vice President of MSG Varsity. “Our student-produced shows give us a platform to showcase what kids are learning and accomplishing in those classes.”

The episode of High School Life featuring the MacArthur high school commercial will be available for viewing on-demand on Optimum TV Channel 614 and online at www.msgvarsity.com.
