Update: Levittown Power Outages Should be Restored by 4 p.m.

LIPA reports that 37 Levittown homes are still without power.

It has been a white day after Christmas for Levittown, with light morning snow picking up intensity throughout the day and strong winds adding to the bitter cold.

As of 10 p.m. Sunday, 30 homes in Levittown are experiencing power outages, according to LIPA's storm tracker.

According to the web site, LIPA officials are still "assessing the condition."

UPDATE: As of 11:25 p.m. Sunday, 105 homes in Levittown are without power, LIPA's storm tracker says. LIPA officials are still "assessing the condition." Many of the affected homes are between Loring Road and Gardiners Avenue near Hempstead Turnpike.
