The Week Ahead: Christmas Tree Lighting, Holiday Shopping Extravaganza

With the holiday season here, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the community.

Here's a look at some fun events taking place in Levittown this week:

Levittown Christmas Tree Lighting: The Levittown Tree Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by the Levittown Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Monday, Dec. 3 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm at the Memorial Park, in front of the Levittown Library.

Toys for Tots will be collecting, so the community council said an unwrapped gift for an unfortunate child would be appreciated.

Holiday Shopping Extravaganza at Gardiners Ave. School: Thursday, Dec. 6 at 5:30 p.m.

Come complete your holiday shopping in one place. Over 50 great vendors. We have jewelry and bags, ornaments, children’s items, chocolate, hand painted wine glasses,  Tupperware, baseball cards, toys, Lindt Chocolate, light up watches, American Girl Clothing, home décor, Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, Wildtree,  Mary Kay, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Avon, just to name a few.

Video Game Club for Adults: Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Levittown Library.  Join with your friends or come make new ones!  Play video games such as bowling, tennis, and Scene-It, in a non-competitive setting.  First-come, first-served basis.

Titanic Presentation: The Levittown Library presents "The RMS Titanic…Her Final Days 100th Year Anniversary," on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. Join Eco-Photo Explorers as they recall the tragic history of the Titanic and the exciting search for her remains. 

The show will feature rare photos, and discussions on the technology used to find the wreck and controversy over recovering the artifacts from the site. No Registration required. No fee.
