- Our Heroes Night Out to Hold Fundraiser for Sandy Victims: Levittown charity group that honors and supports the homeless veterans living in a facility at Northport Veterans, will be holding a fundraiser for veterans and victims of Hurricane Sandy on Friday, Nov. 30. The event features an evening of spiritual reading with Janet Russell, and will run from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Levittown Hall, located at 201 Levittown Pky. in Hicksville.
- Levittown Crossfit to Host Fundraiser for Sandy Victims: Long Beach resident Kerriann Cunningham has partnered with her gym, Crossfit Revenge of Levittown, to organize a "Run for the Beach" fundraiser to help Long Beach recover from Hurricane Sandy. The event takes place on Saturday, 9 a.m. at Levittown Crossfit, located at 2890 Hempstead Tpke. It will include a 5K race for adults, a fun run and other activities for kids and raffles to raise money.
- Gift Basket Raffle at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church - Doors open at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30. All types of baskets will be raffled, from Holiday to personal baskets, plus gift certificates to local businesses. Entry
