3. Levittown Softball Players Named All-Long Island
Four softball stars from Levittown high school's were recently named to the All-Long Island softball team for their outstanding seasons. Kristen Brown and Jena Cozza of the Long Island Champion MacArthur Generals were named All-Long Island first team, while Island Trees Alannah Basile was named first team and Tori Tedeschi was named to the second team. Congrats to the girls on the accomplishment!
2. Levittowner Nominated for District Court Judge
Levittown resident Howard Taylor, the current Town of Hempstead Legal Counsel and Deputy Receiver of Taxes, has been found "Well Qualified" for district court judge by the Nassau County Bar Association and has received the nomination of the Republican, Conservative and Independence parties to seek election this November.
1. Teens Caught Vandalizing Levittown Car on Video
A Levittown home equipped with a security camera recently caught footage of a group of teenagers vandalizing a car, with one running up and kicking off the side view mirror, while another slashes the back left tire. This comes just weeks after Island Trees High School and a memorial outside the school was found spray-painted. Anyone with information on the incident can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
