- Levittown Power Outage Update -As of Tuesday 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, a total of 1,237 LIPA customers in Levittown were still powerless, the highest on Long Island. As of Saturday, a total of 105 customers were without power in Levittown, according to the LIPA outage map.

- Levittown Culinary Students Serve Meals for Sandy Victims - Students at a local school prepared ready-made meals for residents housed at the Levittown Memorial Education Center.

2. Story of Levittown Boxer to Appear in Film Festival - The story of former Levittown boxing contender "Irish" Bobby Cassidy in the Off Broadway play, "Kid Shamrock" is now getting the movie treatment.

1. Levittown Man Arrested for Utility Worker Assault - A Levittown man was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with assault, after a fight left an out-of-state utility worker hospitalized.

It was later found out that the altercation between the two started when the defendant, 34-year-old Thomas Libretto, noticed the worker, 34-year-old John Applewhite, urinating in the vicinity of his car in the parking lot of Texas Roadhouse in East Meadow.
