Achievements: For her seventh birthday last weekend, Regan asked all her friends to bring donations to help the animals at Huntington's Little Shelter instead of bringing gifts. Party guests happily brought pet foot, dog and cat treats, pet beds, leashes, collars and dog and cat toys after receiving the shelter's wish list in Regan's invitations. Regan then sorted and packaged the gifts and prepared them for donation. She chose Little Shelter because she has been there to donate blankets and sees them often at Hicksville's Broadway Mall.

Key to Awesomeness: "Regan is an extremely empathetic and giving child," said her mother, Cheryl Lutz. She loves animals and recently convinced her parents to adopt “Daphne” from a poodle rescue group. She repeatedly asks her parents for their pocket money to place in the Little Shelter donation jar at the mall, Cheryl said.

When she is not working to help animals, Regan is gracing the small screen as an aspiring actress and model. She has appeared on "Good Morning America", "So You Think You Can Dance", "Sesame Street" and the Weather Channel’s "It Could Happen Tomorrow". She performed in an off-off-Broadway children’s production of "Cinderella" and has modeled for various children’s clothes designers and fashion photographers in New York City. "On her audition trips into New York City, she makes sure she greets and talks to each dog and cat she sees," Cheryl said, proving that this Whiz Kid never forgets the cause closest to her heart.
