Submitted by Christine Saporito, Kindergarten Teacher at Sparke Elementary School.
Sparke teachers and their students recently created snowflakes to send to the
Sandy Hook community.
The snowflakes were requested as a
means of decorating the new school building for the students and staff. The teachers did not discuss the details, but rather explained that
they were making the snowflakes
“to brighten another child’s day.”
The children enjoyed the project,
and were happy to do something to demonstrate the character traits they
had been studying this month – “Caring and Sharing.” Along with the
snowflakes, Sparke send love, prayers, support
and lots of “caring” to the Sandy Hook community.
