Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island (BBBSLI) has named Chris Cosentino as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations. Cosentino will be the agency’s main contact for all media inquiries as well as spearheading BBBSLI’s marketing efforts.
“We are excited to welcome Chris Cosentino to the BBBSLI staff,” said CEO Mark Cox. “His energy, experience and team oriented attitude will add great value to our agency.”
Cosentino comes to BBBSLI from New York University where he worked within the Department of Bursar and was enrolled in graduate courses. While at RMHLI, he played an integral role in the organization’s marketing plan for the 25th Anniversary Gala at Citifield and Kickoff Event. He also served as the editor-in-chief of the RMHLI newsletter and created the RMHLI Cup junior hockey tournament.
Aside from his BBBSLI duties, Consentino is also the head coach of the New York University ice hockey team. Earlier this year, he received national media attention when he stepped in to coach the New York Rangers prior to the 2013 NHL season.
