The Levittown School District is pleased to announce that Division Avenue High School senior Brianna DeMilia has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue playing lacrosse on the college level at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich.

Brianna has been a three-year starter at goalie for the Blue Dragons and earned Nassau County’s Unsung Hero award as a sophomore and junior athlete.

For the past two years, Brianna has been essential to the success of the team, with a record of 168 saves for 16 games (52 percent) as a junior team member.

Varsity coach Sean Donellan said Brianna’s competitive spirit cannot be taught.

“That characteristic will prepare Brianna to be successful in college,” he said. “She will be difficult to replace.”
