Story by Elizabeth Sobel.

At a recent National Junior Honor Society meeting at Levittown’s Salk Middle School, the members created beautiful and colorful valentines to send to local veterans.

The students utilized the software program Publisher to generate these lovely greeting cards, which will be delivered to the Northport Veterans Hospital on Long Island. Valentines for Veterans is an annual community service project in which the NJHS is involved.

Within each of the cards, the students expressed sincere thanks to the veterans for their service to the United States.
