Anthony Papa was strong at the plate and on the rubber in carrying Division to a 10-5 victory over Roslyn on Wednesday at .
Papa had two extra-base hits for Division. He doubled in the third inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Papa also racked up seven strikeouts on the hill for the Division win, improving the team's record to 9-1. He allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks over five innings.
Division's Papa, Dan Hauschild, Tyler Epple and Tyler Crafa combined for six hits and five RBIs.
Division never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on an error and a groundout by James Curti.
Division added a run in the second on an RBI single by Crafa, bringing home Hauschild.
They tacked on four more runs in the bottom of the third. A sacrifice fly scored Epple to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Aaron Gerner's single, plating Papa.

Division responded with two runs of their own in the fourth, thanks to an RBI single by Curti and an RBI double by Gerner.
Roslyn cut into the deficit with a run on a bases-loaded walk in the fifth. They added four runs in the top of the sixth to close to 9-6. An RBI double, a groundout, and an error gave Roslyn life. Zach Kuller got an inning-ending strikeout to end the threat.
The Blue Dragons added a run in the sixth for the 10-6 final.
