Division held a comfortable three-run lead in the fourth inning, but a big comeback by South Side ended Division's hopes in a 8-7 loss Thursday in Rockville Centre.
James Curti racked up three RBIs on three hits for Division. He singled in the first, second, and sixth innings.
Division jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Tyler Epple got things going for Division with a single. Then an error scored Adam Herbert. More runs came home for Division when Epple scored on an RBI single by Aaron Gerner.
South Side got two-run rallies in the fifth inning and the sixth. In the fifth, South Side scored on a two-run single, bringing home two runs.
