YES Community Counseling Center Opens Its Doors in Levittown

YES Community Counseling Center, a non profit community based organization opened its satellite office at 152 Center Lane, Levittown on September 13th.  This location will offer specialized and evidence based treatment programs to adolescents and families impacted by alcohol and substance abuse and will respond to the gap in programs created when the past provider closed its doors to the community, stated YES’ Executive Director, Jamie Bogenshutz.  Services will be comprehensive, while also designed with the understanding that flexibility is essential for families with hectic schedules.  All treatment staff are licensed and credentialed professionals with a wealth of knowledge and experience working with families, youth, and substance abuse.  As a NYS OASAS licensed and multi-funded agency, YES has been providing quality treatment and prevention programs to adolescents, adults and families to southeastern Nassau for over 35 years.  “Our new location will increase accessibility for individuals residing in Western Nassau and will also provide access to a myriad of other services and resources at the Massapequa location when needed.”
The satellite’s program hours will be on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and will expand based upon needs of the surrounding community.   Referrals and questions can also be made to our Massapequa office, open Mondays through Thursdays from 9AM-10PM, and Fridays from 9AM-5PM.   Most insurance is accepted including Medicaid, and those without coverage will be assessed for a sliding scale fee.  YES is a licensed 501C3 and is an accredited charity by The Better Business Bureau.
