LPOA to Discuss Natural Gas, Crocus Lane at Meeting

The Levittown Property Owners Association (LPOA) will hold their monthly meeting Tuesday night, 7:30 p.m. at the Levittown Library Bluegrass entrance.

On the agenda for Tuesday's meeting is a visit from resident John Duffy, who will discuss the possibility of having Natural Grid supply Levittown with natural gas at reasonable prices.

"The gas is available and from what we have heard the technology exists so that they don't have to tear up the streets," member Tom Caro told Patch.

The LPOA will also discuss the upcoming Crocus Lane hearing at the Town of Hempstead Board of Appeals. Josato, Inc. is seeking variances to build four homes on the Crocus Lane property after getting defeated on a previous proposal to develop two-story, 46-unit condominiums.

Residents may submit comments in writing before the hearing date by filling out the forms online (case #721/09 - 724/09).
