Justine Ranson Schachter, of Levittown, NY, died on Dec. 17, 2013, one day shy of her 86th birthday.
Beloved wife of the late Scott Schachter for 51 years. Cherished mother of Linda Wright, the late Barbara Costa, Peter Schachter, and David Schachter. Treasured mother-in-law of Robert Wright, Antonia Schachter, and Scott Hunt. Adored grandmother of Jeffrey and Bryan Wright, and Nicholas and Jonathan Schachter. Dearest sister of Ellen Adams. Loving friend to many.
Justine was a talented artist who delighted in traveling the world with her husband and volunteering her time and talents to progressive social causes. Memorial service on Sunday, January 5 at 11am at Gutterman's, 8000 Jericho Tpke, Woodbury, L.I.
