Walter J. Stack 79, of Levittown, died on December 15 with his family by his side.
He was a loving husband to Evelyn and a beloved father to Karen (Christopher), Cheryl (Anthony), Janice (Joe), Wally (Susan) and Wendy (Gene) and devoted grandfather to 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Walter is survived by brothers Martin, Donald and William. He attended Cardinal Hayes High School, St. John's University and was the founder and owner of Stack Insurance Agency in Melville, NY.
Family will receive friends at the Wantagh Abbey Funeral Home, 3374 Park Avenue, Wantagh, NY on Tuesday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial- Wednesday 11:00 am at St Bernard's RC Church, Levittown, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society of St. Bernards Church. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
