Dr. Harry Hudes, father of Levittown resident and Hempstead Town Councilman Gary Hudes passed away this week.
Gary is the owner of Gennaro Jewelers in Bellmore and is a past president, longtime and very active member of the Bellmore Chamber of Commerce.
A service was held Friday at Gutterman's Funeral Home in Hackensack, New Jersey. Burial is at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Fariview, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Inn, 211 Fulton Ave., Hempstead, NY 11550.
