WWII Veteran, Levittown Resident Ralph W. Anderson Jr. Dies

Ralph W. Anderson Jr., 89, of Levittown passed away on Jan. 4, 2014, peacefully in his sleep.

The world lost a great man. He was kind and loving and will be sorely missed. He was a proud WWII Veteran in the Air Force. Member of VFW Post 9592 and American Legion Post 1711. Beloved, husband of the late Helen. A great dad to Darlene Anderson and Wayne Anderson. Beloved brother of Ray, Clyde and Fay. Survived by many nieces and nephews and Grand Doggie Spark Plug.

The family wishes to extend many thanks to Dave for helping to care for Ralph and who also thought of him as his Dad. Friends may call Wednesday 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Homes, Levittown Chapel, 2786 Hempstead Tpke. (two blocks east of Wantagh Pkwy.)

American Legion and VFW will have a service. Religious service Wednesday 8:00 PM, Pastor Stephanie Pope Officiating. Funeral Thursday 10:00 AM. Interment LI National Cemetery.

 The Family request donations in Ralph's nae to be made to The Wounded Warrior Project. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
