Multiple reports say that the Jets acquired quarterback Tim Tebow from the Broncos for two draft picks.
Tebow led the Denver Broncos to the AFC West title last season after taking over as the starting QB in midseason. The Broncos beat the Steelers in the AFC Wild Card round before losing to the Patriots in the AFC Divisional Playoffs.
Tebow became expendable in Denver after the Broncos signed Peyton Manning Tuesday.
The Tebow trade comes less than two weeks after the Jets extended quarterback Mark Sanchez's contract for three years.
