Crime Nearby: Wantagh Bank Robber Caught, Pedestrian Killed Crossing Street

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.

East Meadow

    •    On Feb. 15, a brick was thrown through the window of a vehicle parked on   Lorraine Gate.
    •    The store front window was damaged at East Meadow and Wine Spirits on Feb. 15.

Levittown

    •    On Feb. 15, a total of 15 HP toners was stolen from Office Max on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown.
    •    On Feb. 16, a cash register and cash was stolen from House of Yau in Levittown.

Wantagh

    •    A man reported on Feb. 8 that an unknown suspect stole stole a credit card from his wallet at 7-Eleven on Park Avenue in Wantagh.
    •    A GPS was removed from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on Wantagh Park Drive on Feb. 12.
    •    A vehicle parked on Manchester Road in Wantagh was scratched sometime between Feb. 15-16.
    •    A snowblower was stolen from an automobile parked on Carisle Road in Wantagh on Feb. 15.
    •   Three people were arrested on Thursday night after a bank robbery in Roslyn Heights, one of whom was connected to a string of six Nassau County TD Bank robberies that began back in January, including one in Wantagh and one in East Meadow. Read the story here.

Seaford

    •   A 65-year old man was struck and killed by a 2008 Nissan Frontier at the intersection of Merrick Road and Jackson Avenue in Seaford on Feb. 19. For more on story, click here.
