Crime Report: 2011 Jetta and Landscaping Equipment Stolen
A look at recent crime in Levittown and the surrounding areas, reported by the Nassau County Police Department.
The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Levittown
- On September 27 at 8:15 p.m., a purse and Vera Bradley tote bag was stolen from a car outside of Governor's Comedy Club.
Hicksville
- Sometime between September 29 at 6 p.m. and September 30 at 6:30 a.m., landscaping equipment was stolen from two front yards on Scooter Lane.
- Sometime between September 29 at 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., a pocketbook, social security cards and a work permit was stolen from a car at Cantiague Park.
- Sometime between September 26 at 12:36 a.m. and 12:51 a.m., a 2011 Jetta was stolen on Nelson Avenue.
- On September 29 at 11:15 p.m., license plates were stolen from a car on Hazel Street.
- Sometime between September 30 at 10:30 p.m. and October 1 at 6 a.m., four catalytic converters were stolen from at Sammy Auto Repair.
Bethpage
- Sometime between September 23 at 9 a.m. and October 1 at 1 p.m., cash was stolen from a checking account on Broadway.
- On September 30 at 11:15 p.m., an unknown female knocked over a motorcycle on 3rd Street.
