Crime Report, Pt. II: Citgo Station, Diner Robbed

A look at recent crime in the area, reported by the Nassau County Police Department.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Hicksville

- Sometime between September 7 at 3:30 p.m. and 3:48 p.m., the Citgo gas station was robbed, with an unknown amount of cash stolen.

- On September 10 at 6:45 p.m., three XBox hard drives were stolen from Target.

- On September 9 at 5:47 a.m., cash was stolen from the register at Empire Diner.

Sometime between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m., a wallet with credit card and cash was stolen from Hattie Court. Unauthorized charges were then made on the credit card, police said.

- On September 5 at 7:15 p.m., assorted merchandise was stolen from Stop & Shop.

- Sometime between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m., a wallet was stolen from a car on Lee Avenue. 

- Sometime between 10 p.m. on September 9 and and 7 a.m. on September 10, cash, an IPad, a Movado watch and a pocketbook was stolen from a car on Underhill Avenue.

- Sometime between 8:18 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. on September 10, assorted electronics were stolen from Target. 

- On September 4 at 10:30 p.m., a paint thinner was poured on a car on Frevert Place. 

- Sometime between 10 p.m. and 1130 p.m. on September 7, paint was thrown on a car on Albert Road. 

Bethpage

- Sometime between 1:05 a.m. and 8:05 a.m., a car was keyed on Shelley Drive.
