Crime Report: Stolen Auto Registration, Car Break-Ins

A look at recent crime in Levittown, reported by the Nassau County Police Department.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Feb. 19 - A briefcase and medication was stolen from a car at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.

Feb. 21 - Coins were stolen from a car on Twig Lane in Levittown.

Feb. 23 - A briefcase was stolen from a car outside Fortune Wheel Restaurant in Levittown.

Feb. 23 - Cash was stolen on Glazer Ln. in Levittown.

Feb. 23 - A pocketbook was stolen from a car outside Levittown Lanes and a credit card was later used at a gas station.

Feb. 24 - A car registration and insurance cards were stolen from a vehicle outside Miller's Ale House in Levittown.

Feb. 24 - A GPS and cash was stolen was a car on Loring Rd. in Levittown.

Feb. 24 - A car was stolen on Foran Place in Hicksville.

Feb. 25 - Dog feces was smeared on the window of a car on Stewart Ave. in Bethpage.

Feb. 26 - A car was keyed and its tires were slashed outside Old Country Buffett in Levittown.
