Fire Damages Second Floor of Ring Lane Home

There were no injuries, fire officials said.

The Wantagh Fire Department responded to a fire that started on the second floor of a single-family home at 40 Ring Lane on Saturday.

According to Wantagh Assistant Fire Chief James Bloomfield, the fire started when people were in the house.

"No one was hurt," he said. "We are still investigating what started the fire."

Fire departments from Levittown and North Bellmore were on the scene.
